West View Fire Department

• West View Fire Department has 96 members, 70₁₀₉ active members.
• Last year (2000) The₁₁₀ Fire₁₁₁ departnent₁₁₂ used 1,071 manhours₁₁₃ answering 141 calls throughout the Borough.
• Training consisted of an additional 1,856 man hours₁₁₄.
• Fire loss for this period was  $800.00₁₁₅
• Through Fund₁₁₆ raising efforts ₁₁₇The₁₁₈Fire Department recently purchased a Thermal Image₁₁₉ Camara₁₂₀. At a cost of  $17,000.00.₁₂₁ Giving₁₂₂ the Department₁₂₃Two₁₂₄ (2) cameras.
• Each Company₁₂₅ recieved₁₂₆ a $10.000.00₁₂₇ grant from the state for training and equipment.

The West View Volunteer Fire Company raises money through their yearly letter Campaign₁₂₈ in April. Also every Sunday and Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. The₁₂₉ Department₁₃₀ holds a₁₃₁ Bingo₁₃₂ at The West View Firemans₁₃₃ Building located at 398 Perry Highway. The Firemans₁₃₄ Building is also used for Weddings₁₃₅ and Small₁₃₆ parties.
